Dicle Yurdakul earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing major) from Izmir University of Economics in June 2013. She had been engaged as a Lecturer at Izmir University of Economics and taught marketing management, marketing research and retailing at graduate and post-graduate levels. She has been working as a post-doctoral research fellow at Koç University since February 2014. Her postdoctoral research focus on corporate social responsibility and inclusive business models. She is also performing as a consultant for UNDP in two projects on the role of private sector in development. Her research interests lie in the fields of poverty research, consumer empowerment and gender studies.
